Hi Penny!

Thank you so much for writing back. I appreciated it very much!

Now that you mention it, I remember Cameron Mitchell wearing a mustache for the episode "The Badge." It really looks like him from that episode!

Thanks for looking on information about the rifle and cap gun. It has me even more curious about them now. Of course you have my permission to include this in the next newsletter. I want to share this with our other fans and this is the best way to find out things. Who knows, someone may have the answer. I can't wait to find out!

Oh, by the way, last night I was watching the two hour episode toward the end of the series, "The New Lion of Sonora" and I every time I see it, it really cements for me the reason why "The High Chaparral" was in my opinion, the BEST TV western ever made. All the outdoor footage, the acting, and especially the cast were at their best! Plus, it was a thrill to have veteran movie star Gilbert Roland guest starring as Don Domingo de Montoya! I don't know if many people realize this, but when this episode was filmed, he was 65 years old!!!! He looked like he was in his 40's and Mr. Roland was known for keeping healthy and exercising. He was PERFECT for this role and he is a class act! And the flashback that showed Don Sebastian de Montoya (Frank Silvera) brought tears to my eyes. What a class act too! They don't make actors like this any more!

I didn't mean to go on and on but I just had to share this and I know you would appreciate it! Thanks for listening!

Thanks again for all your help as always!

Woody
